Paul Zimmermann works across the full audio picture: music composition, implementation, voice direction, and audio leadership across games shipped on every major platform. Over more than a decade in game audio, he has served as the audio voice on projects from concept through ship, defining direction, producing original scores across genres, directing and producing voice actors, managing outsourced composers and sound designers, and implementing everything via audio middleware and game engines.
His soundtrack for roguelike deck-builder Wildfrost garnered very positive reviews and multiple award nominations, including "Best Soundtrack" at the inaugural Debug Awards and a longlist at the World Soundtrack Awards 2023. A vinyl release is available via Black Screen Records.
His soundtrack for Space Haven, developed by Finnish studio Bugbyte, remains one of his most commercially successful releases to date. A background in songwriting and record production across pop and rock informs a compositional range that moves comfortably between genres, and between the studio and the stage.
